Dutch folks have a final resting place (cemetery) in Ahmedabad dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. Some of the tombs are also believed to be Armenian. The architecture of these tombs - domes and pillars - shows a fine confluence of Dutch and Indian architectural styles. The tombs are located on a small hilltop near the circular Kankaria Talav (pond).
